Also, instead of waiting around for a permanent position, taking on a temporary role can help you gain experience or stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in your industry. Thomas says this can help candidates stand out to employers, making them more marketable for future positions.

“Staffing specialists are actually consultants for their candidates,” says Thomas. “We can help them put together their resume, provide them with interview tips and help prepare them for meetings with potential employers.”
